Interactus is the new name for SiBot. Soon to be in its third revision, SiBot will get a new name, be completely written by the new extended SimonCook.org Open Source Development Team.
Current Version: N/A
Description
Interactus is an IRC Bot for managing Game Servers and running its own IRC Games. Features will soon include support for multiple game engines (currently we are focusing on the Source Engine) and more of its own games (including achievements).
Requirements
Java JRE in your path. The project is designed to run on Linux, though where possible it will be platform-independant.
How to Use
Once we start releasing compiled versions, using the command
java -jar Interactus.jar will start the bot.
A full readme will be written soon including how to change the configuration file.
Licence
Due to the main bot core component (PircBot) being based on the GPL, Interacus is also licenced with the GPL. To read the licence for the code, please read the LICENCE file in the main git repository. At some point we will be writing our own “bot core” but the bot will still be licenced under the GPL.
Checkout Source Code/Compile
We use GitHub to host and manage our code. The Git Project is simoncook/interactus though you can see each developers forks to see what they have been working on. There is an ant file in the project directory, but as we use NetBeans for development and it is responsible for files to compile, it may or may not work. Compiled versions will be available soon.
None (currently).
